A gorrgeous Pair of “Empire” ormolu vases each cast in bronze, finely chased, and fire-gilded.

They feature a footed, richly profiled amphora shape set on a square, multi-tiered plinth.
They are both flanked by two loop handles emerging from large and beautifully detailed mascarons in the form of Bacchus heads.
The necks of the vases are decorated with upright palmettes and tabs interspersed with scrolls.

The workmanship is exquisite and the state of the Ormolu excellent.

A wonderful decor piece.
