Graceful 18th Century Young Woman Chalk and Charcoal Drawing

This beautiful representation of a young woman is directly taken from the design left by Francois BOUCHER.
The Portrait shows a lovely lady, her head slightly bent in reflection with a lovely infused by the excellent strokes of the highlighting white touches of chalk and the light red chalk tones.
The lovely piece has a cartouche for François BOUCHER, 1703/1770, however this is surely a ‘School of’ Boucher and not the master himself.
It remains an absolutely gorgeous piece.
The Frame is lovely, simply done with gilt wood.

The Drawing measures 7.61 inches by 5.31 inches
It was purchased in Paris in September 2018.
