A beautiful miniature Table Clock in Silver, Ormolu and white marble by Master Silversmiths Boin Taburet.

Worked in the Louis XVI Style, this lovely piece shows a classical colonnade or gazebo with a putto done in ronde bosse in the center standing on a demi-lune pedestal.
The clock its self tops the little gazebo structure and is with a Silver Gilt Ribbon and a cascade of flowers and garlands of acanthus leaves.

The base is decorated with laurel garlands and a pearl line.

The putto, columns, garlands and pearl lines are all in Silver Gilt.
The clock itself is in Ormolu as is the bottom of the little gazebo and the feet.

The base holds the Stamp for Boin Taburet as well at the registration number 40941.
The Makers Mark shows both the Mark of BOIN TABURET, and the maker of Georges Boin.
The mark is for ‘Maîtres Orfèvres’ Georges BOIN and Emile TABURET. After individual successful careers they joined forces and registered their joint mark 1873.
They went on to win a gold medal for their beautiful pieces in 1889 during the Paris World Fair.
They worked at 3 Rue Pasquier near the Madeleine Area of Paris.
